Dear Julian,

Hey,

Someone complimented me on my reading this morning.  We read aloud often in AA meetings.  It was nice of them.  I don’t know if I read well aloud or not.  Best not to think about it too much undoubtedly.

I went looking for a CD for Mom for our anniversary this morning and I’m having trouble finding it.  I’ll try Borders tomorrow.  It’s a good solid bike ride and I have to be back in an hour and a half.  But I found Hershey’s dark chocolate chips on sale at the Walmart, which is good because they were all out of the bars.

I’ve been practicing Bach a lot, especially the French Suite #1, the Courante of which I used to have you play.  It’s hard.  Especially the part after you turn the page.  You did a really good job considering how young you were at the time.  It’s very pretty though, and it helps the way I think because of its precisely divided parts.  To play it well, you have to be thinking of each part both separately and at once.  Brain game.  Maybe that’s contributing to my reading ability…

Hope you’re having and will continue to have a pleasant Wednesday.

Dad.
